An Orangery is an extension which has one or more lantern inserts and is surrounded by as much or as little wall as the customer desires.
Where on my home could I build an orangery?
Almost anywhere, even free standing in the garden. Our design team are on hand to advise you.
Do I still require planning permission for an orangery?
The laws where relaxed in 2008 but it is always best to check first.
Could I build one myself?
Yes with support from our technical department and some practical help.
How do I keep the Orangery cool and warm?
By installing our heating and cooling system or glazing your Orangery in thermally efficient glass or polycarbonate.
Will my orangery be thermally efficient?
Yes our standard orangery comes with 35mm polycarbonate in the lantern (U=1.2) and K glass in the windows and doors, upgrades are available to solar and thermal efficient glass.
How long is my orangery guaranteed for?
Your orangery will be guaranteed for 10 years subject to terms of agreement.
